It tells of her deep knowledge and understanding of the history of her plants, and talks of the enormous pleasure of her plants, and talks of the enormous pleasure and inspiration Penny has derived from her surroundings in Cornwall, one of the most romantic areas of Britain. A Passion for Flowers is also a celebration of Penny Black's work, containing over 40 beautiful and innovative ideas for using fresh, dried and pressed flowers. Many of the pressed dried flower pictures for which Penny is renowned are included: a seaweed-decorated vase of spring flowers using hellabores and kingcups; a golden posy of autumnal herbs, seedheads and wild flowers; a wintry circular collage of tiny rosebuds.
