Slight bumping at either end of spine and some slight soiling, especially on the back cover; apart from being price-clipped dj intact. Cover painting features a bearded cowhand bearing a rifle with some typical Western-style buildings in the background. Binding red cloth with black lettering on spine. Opening page bears a book dealer's rubber stamp, otherwise pages are exceptionally bright and clean. There were five of the Parnell boys, sometimes six - enough men to scare a lot of people and they had had their fun with Conn Conagher all right. They'd tried to gun him down more times than even a slow-tempered saddle tramp would sit still for. Smoke Parnell and his outfit knew every dirty trick in the book, from robbery and rustling to cold-blooded murder. Only one man in the territory had something new to teach them and he was sure they wouldn't like it. For Conagher was now too tired and too mean to be played with any more. "Parnell," he said, "you've given me grief. All I'm going to give you is a running start..."
